Regional Office 1 (RO 1) Manager Raul Servito committed PCIC’s support for the Balungao Gatasang Kalabaw Kontra Kahirapan at Kagutuman (GK3K) program during its launch on April 29, 2024 in Balungao, Pangasinan. Servito noted that PCIC’s  free insurance will protect the carabao farmers participating in the program from unforeseen circumstances,  such as disease outbreaks, natural disasters, or accidents. The Balungao GK3K program is being implemented with support from the Department of Social Welfare and Development Region 1.   It supports dairy farming as a viable  form of livelihood that contributes as well to  achieving food security.
