PCIC Regional Office 1 Manager Raul Servito expressed the PCIC’s support to the graduates of the Kabalikat sa Kabuhayan (KSK) farming program of the SM Foundation during ceremonies held on July 1, 2025 at SM City Urdaneta and July 3 in Aringay, La Union.
KSK is a comprehensive 14-week training course designed to teach modern farming techniques and financial literacy, and give access to institutional markets to farmer-beneficiaries.
As a partner agency, PCIC provides crop insurance coverage, conducts orientations on its products and services, and helps in identifying and validating qualified insurance beneficiaries.
Present during the ceremonies were key representatives from partner agencies including Mylene Mazo of the Cooperative Development Authority, Grace Dela Cruz of the Social Welfare Department, Director Josephine Aben of the Agricultural Training Institute, and KSK Assistant Program Manager Jennelyn Lizardo.
