
PCIC RO2 exercised its social responsibility to the communities within its jurisdiction by carrying out a feeding program and distribution of essential household necessities and food packs to the members of the Agta communities in Sitio Agal, Barangay San Jose, San Mariano, Isabela.
The Agta community is one of the indigenous people’s groups in the country whose members live in the margins of society.
The activity highlighted the corporation’s dedication to make a positive impact beyond its core business. PCIC RO2’s action aimed to help improve the well-being and alleviate the status of the community. The activity resonated deeply within the hearts and minds of both the Agta communities and PCIC RO2 employees, fostering a sense of unity and shared humanity.
PCIC RO2 conducted the event in collaboration with the National Commission on Indigenous Peoples,represented by Ms. Stephanie Caroline Nalliw – Nurse II and Ms. Leni Quinto – Researcher, with the help of Ms. Myrna Daguinotas, Councilor of Barangay San Jose, San Mariano, Isabela.
