The Philippine Crop Insurance Corporation Regional Offices XI and XII held a joint meeting with PCIC top management and the Board of Directors led by PCIC President Jovy C. Bernabe on November 27, 2013 in Koronadal City.
During the event, PCIC ROs XI and XII distributed indemnity checks to seven (7) Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries (ARBs) for the damages of their palay, corn, livestock and high value (coconut) crops due to flood, and to Carmen Palm Oil Planters Producers Corporation for corn crops damaged by drought.
The Directors shared messages of encouragement to PCIC Regional Offices XI and RO XII for them to face the challenges posed by the agricultural sector’s vulnerability to the adverse effects of climate change.
The event was attended by PCIC RM Elias S. Catulong, RM Bonifacio V. Pales, SVP Norman R. Cajucom, VP-CBAG Antonio S. Uy II, Dir. Epifanio A. Maniebo, Dir. Alex de Guzman Suarez, Dir. Juan V. Borra Jr., and Dir. Dioscoro A. Granada.
