PCIC Region V awarded indemnity checks to Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries (ARBs) under the DAR-PCIC Agrarian Insurance Program (AIP) last February 11, 2014 at the Department of Agrarian Reform Provincial Office (DARPO) in Masbate.

PCIC Insurance Underwriter Engr. Christopher Gloria and DARPO-Masbate representative Samuel Ongcal, Jr., Rudy Delgado and Rolando Panghulan were on hand in the distribution of the PCIC indemnity checks to the ARBs who were mostly Typhoon Yolanda victims.

Engr. Gloria briefly explained the nature and benefits derived from AIP in accordance with the government’s objective to provide crop, livestock and accident insurance to ARBSs as well as encouraged them to work and develop their farms to the fullest extent under the protection of PCIC agricultural insurance.
