PCIC RO III conducted a series of one day training on crop damage assessment and claims adjustment and settlement for Agricultural Technologists (ATs) from various Local Government Units that will serve as PCIC’s Reserve Corps of Adjusters (RCAs). The training and workshop seminars were held in Bulacan, Pampanga and Tarlac City on May 15, May 22 and May 29, respectively.

This activity is being done yearly before the start of the rainy season in line with its program to rationalize preparation for widespread calamities especially those insured under the Weather Adverse Rice Areas Program of the Department of Agriculture. The objective of the training is to technically equip the participants on Crop Damage Assessment and Claims Adjustment and Settlement in order to respond to the of claims of farmer-beneficiaries.  The training gave emphasis on the preparation of Claims Adjustment and Verification Report (CAVR) and Claims for Indemnity (CI).
