PCIC Regional Office 2 conducted a bloodletting activity in its office last May 7, 2019. The activity with the theme “Be a PCIC Superhero! Donate Blood, Save Lives,” was participated in by employees led by Regional Manager Edna Marallag, and farmer-clients.

 It was deemed timely as the local blood bank needs infusion amid the rising number of dengue fever cases in the region.

The activity was done in collaboration with the Blood Bank of the Cagayan Valley Medical Center in Tuguegarao City, Cagayan. Representatives from the Blood Bank assured that PCIC personnel, farmers and their families who may need blood may request for blood from the bank, subject to endorsement by PCIC-RO2 and availability of blood stock.
