PCIC, LBP to make services more efficient to release insurance money faster
KIDAPAWAN CITY- Submit remittances on time and make sure we comply with the requirements.
This was emphasized by Ms. Rosalina Grabulan, Officer-in-Charge of PCIC Regional Office 12 to its partners from the LBP-North Cotabato Lending Center (LBP-NCLC)
During the annual Regional Committee Meeting (RCT) jointly conducted by PCIC Region 12 and the LBP-NCLC on March 28, 2019, Ms. Grabulan noted that late submission of remittances causes delay on the computation of indemnity and sometimes is the reason farmers are not given indemnity checks.
In response, LBP-NCLC through Account Officer Edgar Alcordo, assured that LBP-NCLC officials will discuss ways to address the concern.
Besides looking for ways to make operations more efficient and to have better coordination between the agencies, PCIC Region 12 Acting Underwriter Lilibeth Ardina also gave LBP front liners an orientation on the different PCIC programs. Moreover, Mr. Herman Parrenas, the Officer-in-Charge of the PCIC Region 12 Claims Adjustment Division, discussed the rules and procedures on claims.
Both the LBP-NCLC and PCIC expressed commitment to strengthen their partnership in order to serve farmers better.
