PCIC Corporate Business Affairs Group VP Antonio S. Uy II and PCIC Region VII Manager Crescencio V. Deligero Jr. joined the launching of the National Program for Municipal Fisherfolk Registration (FishR) led by BFAR Director Atty. Asis G. Perez and BFAR Region VII Director Andres M. Bojos in Cebu City on August 22, 2013.

During the event, a welcome message was delivered by Cebu Mayor Michael L. Rama. Inspirational messages were given by Cebu District IV Cong. Benhur H. Salimbangon and Capt. Romeo Tapayan in-behalf of Gov. Hilario P. Davide III.

Dir. Perez announced that the registered fisherfolk will be recipients of BFAR interventions including PCIC Accident Dismemberment and Security Scheme (ADSS) coverage.
