The municipality of Mabinay, Negros Oriental recently held the annual Agro-Fair and Farmers Congress with the theme “Go for Progress through Mabinayanihan.”

During the Congress, the Philippine Crop Insurance Corporation (PCIC) distributed indemnity checks. Thirty-one (31) agricultural insurance beneficiaries were awarded indemnity checks worth two hundred eighty-three thousand three hundred ninety-one pesos (₱ 283, 391.00).

The indemnity payments were distributed by PCIC RO VII staff together with the officers and staff of the Mabinay LGU.
