Regional Office 4 (RO 4) recently joined Bagong Pilipinas Serbisyo Fair (BPSF), bringing PCIC products and services closer to Cavite farmers and fisherfolk. PCIC pays ₱700,000 indemnity in Kananga, Leyte
More than 300 rice and corn farmers received indemnity checks earlier this quarter. The insurance payment was prompted by damages caused by stemborers, corn borers, rats, and rice bugs. The distribution was made possible with the valuable assistance of the Municipal Agriculture Office, led by Municipal Agriculturist Carlito Torreon.
