The PCIC distributed indemnity checks to farmers in Bukidnon on March 26 and 29, 2019.

A total of 1,031 farmers from the municipalities of Don Carlos, Kadingilan and Quezon collected checks amounting to ₱5.918 Million. Most of the claims were prompted by the El Niño phenomenon being experienced in the area.    

“The PCIC is the farmer’s partner in ensuring they will earn from their investments and a stable food supply,” PCIC Regional Office 10 Manager Luther Salting said. “We are happy that PCIC can help farmers in Bukidnon cope with El Niño.”

Also present during the occasion were Claims Adjustment Division-OIC Chona Pates, Marketing and Sales Division-OIC Roy Arthur Alamban and other PCIC 10 personnel.
