Central Luzon farmers receive crop insurance assistanceCITY OF SAN FERNANDO — More than 1,000 farmers from three provinces in Central Luzon recently received financial assistance from the Philippine Crop Insurance Corporation (PCIC). PCIC Regional Manager Romeo Gonzales said they allotted more than P9 million to farmers from Pampanga, Bulacan and Tarlac whose crops were destroyed during the onslaught of Typhoon Juan in October.
