PCIC pays ₱700,000 indemnity in Kananga, Leyte

More than 300 rice and corn farmers received indemnity checks earlier this quarter. The insurance payment was prompted by damages  caused by stemborers, corn borers, rats, and rice bugs. The distribution was made possible with the valuable assistance of the Municipal Agriculture Office, led by Municipal Agriculturist Carlito Torreon.

PCIC Region XI conducted a mass release of indemnity checks
