Capitol insures livelihood of 50,000 farmersTHE agro-fishery business of over 50,000 farmers and fisherfolk in the Province will have insurance coverage from calamities such as typhoons, floods, drought, earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, diseases and pests infestations. The program is a replacement of the corn-based Farmer-Scientists Training Program, which former Capitol consultant Romulo Davide said was used by Garcia for politics.
