PCIC Board of Directors and officials led by President Jovy Bernabe spearheaded a check distribution activity on May 20, 2025, at the PCIC Regional Office 1 in Urdaneta City, Pangasinan.
One hundred twenty (120) farmer-beneficiaries, mostly from Pangasinan, received a total of ₱1.14 Million worth of indemnity checks. Their crops incurred damage resulting from pests and diseases.
“This activity reflects our firm resolve to deliver on our mandate to uplift the lives of our farmers by providing them with quick financial assistance in times of agricultural loss,” Bernabe said.
The distribution was part of the regional visit of the officials, where the RO performance was reviewed and rank-and-file employees were engaged in a dialogue. With Bernabe were Board Chairperson Engr. Luther Salting, Board members Gerardo Soliman (farmers’ representative for Luzon), and Dalmacio Tamba, Jr. (farmers’ representative for Visayas). Also present were Senior Vice President Segundo Guerrero Jr. and Vice President for Corporate Business Affairs Melba Manalo, RO 1 officials and staff led by Regional Manager Raul Servito.
The said officials took the opportunity to interact with the beneficiaries.
RO 1 Manager Servito also expressed gratitude for the visit, saying the gesture was a boost to the morale of both clients and employees.
