Six hundred sixty-five (665) indemnity checks worth more than ₱1.72 Million were distributed by PCIC Regional Office 9, at the Big Hall, Department of Agriculture (DA) Compound in Lower Landing, Dumingag, Zamboanga del Sur. Indemnity was prompted by losses resulting from infestation and crop diseases. 

Insurance Underwriter Paul Jedy Suaren, RO 9 administrative personnel Mark Pomarin, Joelyn Escalante, and Junel Vargas conducted the distribution. Several DA employees also assisted in the activity.
