Beneficiaries from Carmen, Bohol show their indemnity checks during RO7’s distribution activity held at the municipal hall on February 18, 2025.
Regional Office 7 Manager Paulita Secuya led the distribution of indemnity checks to 12 hog raisers in Carmen, Bohol, whose stocks were inflicted by African Swine Fever.
It is so heartbreaking, but we cannot control such fortuitous events. However, I encourage you to continue insuring your livestock because the PCIC will always help and pay if the cause of damage is included in the covered risks.),“ Secuya said during the check distribution.
Present were executives from the municipal government, led by Carmen Mayor Conchita Delos Reyes and Municipal Agriculturist Arlene Cabusao. Ms. Cabusao thanked PCIC on the speedy processing of claims for indemnity.
We are so impressed with PCIC because our incident report from last January was processed immediately, and we are now indemnified by February. They processed it very fast; their services are truly for the farmers.),” Ms. Cabusao said.
RO 7’s timely release of indemnity is its way of helping hog raisers replenish their stock, as they recover from the ill-effects of ASF.
