The management of the Philippine Crop Insurance Corporation (PCIC), led by President JB Jovy C. Bernabe, attended the Bagong Pilipinas Serbisyo Fair (BPSF) Summit at the Philippine International Convention Center on August 19-21, 2024.
The event was held to celebrate the successful conduct of 21 serbisyo fairs all over the country and to further demonstrate the strong convergence and collaboration of national government agencies and local government units in bringing government services closer to the people.
A consistent participant since the BPSF’s inception in 2023, the PCIC reaffirmed its dedication to serving the public by joining future serbisyo fairs.
President Ferdinand Marcos, Jr. graced the summit’s Gabi ng Parangal. In his speech, he toasted the success of the BPSF noting that over P12 billion worth of government services and some P5 billion in financial assistance were distributed to nearly two million beneficiaries during the first year of the program. He underscored the government’s commitment to improving the lives of Filipinos through efficient and accessible public services. He also emphasized that the program has been a testament to the power of collaboration and innovation in addressing the needs of the people, especially those in far-flung areas.
Joining Atty. Bernabe at the event were Senior Vice President Segundo Guerrero, Jr., and Regional Managers Raul Servito, Mario Lumibao, Gerlie Gregorio, Ric Gregorio, Janice Obias, Eva Laud, Paulita Secuya, Julius Batenga, Virgie Baroy, Irene Oco, Rosalina Grabulan, and Gracia Salloman.
