PCIC Region III Manager Romeo G. Gonzales awarded indemnity checks to Cabago Irrigators Association of Calumpit, Bulacan and Cansinala Farmers Association, Inc., amounting to P890,000.00 and P495,483.80, respectively, on October 11, 2013.

The palay crops of the irrigators association and farmers association members were damaged by rains brought by the Habagat and Typhoon Maring, last August 17, 2013.

Present during the ceremony were Cabago Irrigators Association Chairman Macario Diego, Vice Chairman Artemio Mundo, Secretary Flor Gatdula and Treasurer Carlota Marcelino, and Cansinala Farmers Association, Inc. Chairman Rolando Ramos.

The officers extended their heartfelt gratitude for the indemnity they received and pledged to patronize not only palay insurance but also other PCIC agricultural insurance products.
