PCIC Regional Office 6 Manager Eva Ulie Laud recently signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with the Department of Social Welfare and Development at the Seda Atria Hotel, Iloilo City,  making PCIC RO6 a partner of the latter’s Enhanced Partnership Against Hunger and Poverty (EPAHP) initiative. EPAHP aims to eradicate hunger, achieve food security and make agriculture sustainable. 

Under the agreement, PCIC RO6 will provide insurance protection to EPAHP beneficiaries against losses to their crops, livestock, fisheries and non-crop agri-assets, in accordance with the existing PCIC implementing guidelines.  Ms. Shiela Aguhob of the PCIC RO6’s Marketing and Sales Division will be the EPAHP focal person.
