The PCIC Regional Office No. XI conducted its second outreach program in line with PCIC’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program. The PCIC Region XI headed by the OIC-Regional Manager Bonifacio V. Pales undertake on September 14, 2012 the ‘Project Love’ and Tree Planting/Tree Growing activities in cooperation with the Local Government Unit (LGU) at Sitio Elnaf, Dumadalig, Tantangan, South Cotabato with the  sitio leader Rosabel Manahan, Brgy. Kagawad Jonathan Reyes and Pastor Jun Flores.

The group distributed basic items for personal hygiene such as toothbrushes, toothpastes and bath soaps after a brief lecture/demo on personal hygiene practices and sanitation to the B’laan lumads (indigenous people) of Sitio Elnaf.  Free haircuts were also extended to the B’laan residents as a gesture of care under the PCIC ‘Project Love’.

A total of two hundred sixty five (265) trees were planted with the cooperation of the Sitio Elnaf residents led by Rosabel Manahan, Pastor Jun Flores and Brgy.  Kagawad Jonathan Reyes.
