PCIC Region 7 conducts team building workshop, planting activity

Teamwork is essential for any organization to succeed.

This was the central message of the team-building activity of PCIC Region 7 employees, which was conducted in the municipality of Anda, Bohol on May 17, 2019.

Activities during the team-building event demanded energy, quick thinking, trusting one’s teammates, and coordination. Participants were also taught how to formulate a plan, solve problems, and resolve conflicts.

Resource person Ms. Maelane Sale reminded participants to work together, be sensitive and respect one another’s individuality. Ms. Sale is the Outsource Training Facilitator of the DSWD for Bohol, Siquijor and Negros provinces.

PCIC Region 7 officials and employees also planted mangrove trees along the coastline of Anda, Bohol.

“We want to raise awareness among our employees and the people of Anda on the importance of mangroves along the shoreline,” PCIC Region 7 Manager Crescencio Deligero, Jr., said. “For one, mangroves protect shorelines from strong winds, waves and floods.”

But more than these benefits, PCIC Region 7 employees are happy that they get an opportunity to interact with the community.
