AURORA – In line with the thrust of PCIC to increase the number of farmers and fisherfolk benefitting from crop insurance in the countryside, the PCIC Regional Office III-A has established a Provincial Extension Office (PEO) in the province of Aurora on January 13, 2015.  The PEO is located at the 2nd Floor of Aurora Bank Building in the Municipality of Baler, Aurora.

The occasion was graced by PCIC President Jovy C. Bernabe, Chairman Dioscoro R. Granada, Directors Juan V. Borra, Alex DG. Suarez and Epifanio A. Maniebo, SVP Norman R. Cajucom, and PCIC RO III-A Regional Manager Melba P. Manalo.

The establishment of the PCIC PEO is envisioned to enhance the accessibility of PCIC among marginalized farmers and fisherfolk in the rural areas, and encourage them to participate and enroll in various agricultural insurance programs of PCIC.
