PCIC Regional Office 6 personnel recently assessed a tilapia culture project in Tibiao, Antique for insurance coverage. The project is supported by a loan package from the Agricultural Competitive Enhancement Fund (ACEF) released thru the Landbank. Under the package, the proponent applies for a PCIC insurance which forms part of the collateral for the loan. In case a disaster strikes, indemnity from the insurance can assist in paying for the loan.
