Six-hundred fifty-nine (609) farmers from the municipalities of Kabankalan, Ilog, Hinobaan and Candoni received indemnity checks worth  ₱3.264 Million. This happened after the PCIC Regional Office 6 conducted a series of check distribution activities from January 10 to 14. Farmers were indemnified after their crops were damaged by typhoon Odette. PCIC Insurance Underwriter Raymond Nadiera Calonia led the distribution, with  support from the Municipal Agricultural Offices.
