Fulfilling a promise made by PCIC President Jovy Bernabe when he visited Aklan, PCIC Regional Office 6 distributed indemnity checks to farmers in Aklan’s 2nd district on November 30, 2019, during the 5^th Grand Rollout hosted by Aklan 2nd District Rep. Teodorico Haresco.

Regional Manager Eva Ulie Laud handed out ₱707,726.80 to a total of 121 farmers during the event.  

“I am very pleased with the partnership between PCIC and the 2nd District of Aklan,” Rep. Haresco said.

For her part, Ms. Laud said that the PCIC is grateful that it has helped the farmers.

“We know that losses are inevitable especially when natural calamities, pest and diseases ravage farmlands. We assure you that we will continue to extend our support to all of you in the future,“ Ms. Laud said.
