In line with the objectives of the Government Quality Management Systems and to replicate the ISO certification of the PCIC Head Office and Regional Office IV, the PCIC Quality Assurance Council (QAC) conducted an Orientation and Training-Workshop on ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management System (QMS) for the PCIC Visayas Regional Offices in Iloilo City last 15-17 August 2012.
The QAC Team represented by Mr. Robertito Lemuel B. Ocampo, Mr. Danilo E. Don and Ms. Rita May M. Pura conducted lectures, discussions, workshop exercises and group discussions in order for the participants to appreciate the QMS and Quality Objective Formulation. All participating regions (RO V, RO VI, RO VII, and RO VIII) were able to formulate their respective Quality Objectives. This activity will prepare the PCIC Visayas Regional Offices for pre-assessment leading to the ISO certification process.
With the the aim of providing PCIC clients the highest satisfaction and to improve the Claims Settlement Response Time (CSRT) to 18 days, Claims Adjustment Best Practices was also discussed by Acting VP-CBAG Antonio S. Uy II and the Division Chiefs of Claims Adjustment Division (CAD).
