PCIC pays Iloilo fisherfolk for damaged boats

| DATE POSTED: FEBRUARY 7, 2022 | Fisherfolk Mitchell de Leon and Alfredo Tuling received checks worth ₱36,000 each on January 14, 2022 as indemnity for their fishing boats damaged by a storm surge locally called “pugada.” The checks were handed out to them in Oton, Iloilo by Ms. Nikita Basug of the PCIC.
