Northern Foods Corporation (NFC), a semi-government agency, and represented by their President, Dr. Marcus Luis T. Quintos entered into a Memorandum of Agreement with PCIC, wherein NFC agreed to underwrite for PCIC’s Insurance Products. Aside from underwriting, the NFC under the agreement agreed to participate in the training on insurance to be conducted by the PCIC. Likewise, the NFC  agreed to actively participate in agri-insurance information dissemination in the countryside.

Among the many duties of NFC as an underwriting agent/solicitor, the NFC shall collect premiums from the farmers to be insured, remit to PCIC all premiums collected, net of service fees and allow the PCIC’s examination on all premium collections and corresponding deductions.
