PCIC Regional Office 6 represented by Mr. Glenn Carbon and Ms. Hannah Sabio turns over indemnity checks worth ₱998,424 to Rural Bank of Miag-ao Manager Rey Flores on July 27, 2021. The checks represent  payments for the insurance claims of 73 bulb onion farmers who availed themselves of agricultural loans under the DA-Agricultural Credit and Policy Council’s  Production Loan East Access Program.   The RB-Miag-ao is an accredited loan conduit in the program.   The onions were damaged by  anthracnose infection and by fungus. Present during the turnover were Miag-ao Municipal Agriculturist Ma. Frea Monsale, Agricultural Technician April Joy Depamaylo,  who is also the focal person on bulb onion production, and Risk Officer Noragen Fines.
