PCIC Regional Office 6 distributed a total of ₱1.8 Million worth of indemnity checks to 320 farmers of Maayon, Capiz on November 15, 2019.

This distribution was led by RO6 Manager Eva Ulie Laud and Capiz Governor Esteban Evan “Nonoy” Contreras.

“We are happy to assist beneficiaries recoup their investments, especially in municipalities which have farming as its primary source of livelihood,” Ms. Laud said.

The beneficiaries expressed gratitude to the claims indemnity they received. This gratitude was echoed by Gov. Contreras, who thanked PCIC for making farmer-beneficiaries feel that the government is always ready to help them, especially after natural calamities ravaged their crops.
