The Luzon Sector Orientation/Training-Workshop on the Government Quality Management System Standards (GQMSS) Requirement and Documentation of ISO 9001:2008 was held in Tagaytay City last October 8, 9 & 10, 2012.  This is the culmination of the nationwide training-workshops to jumpstart the implementation of the QMS in all Regional Offices.  As in the Visayas and Mindanao Sectors, the QAC Team of Robertito Lemuel B. Ocampo, Danilo E. Don, and Rita May M. Pura employed lectures, discussions, workshop exercises and group discussions for participants to better appreciate the QMS and Quality Objective Formulation.  The seminar went smoothly with the expected results achieved as evidenced by the active participation of all attendees/participants and the workshops outputs which are in line with the ISO requirements.   This shows that PCIC is right on track for the nationwide ISO Certification.  The QMS Plan of Activities for the Luzon Regional Offices were likewise distributed for them to calendar what needs to be done in their respective offices before the Pre-Assessment to determine which among them will be chosen to undergo the certification process by TUV Rheinland.
