The Philippine Crop Insurance Corporation (PCIC) through its Bids and Award Committee (BAC) invites PHILGEPS registered Suppliers/Dealers for the supply and delivery of Nine (9) units Pick-up Vehicles with the following Approved Budget of Contract (ABC) and Specifications:


General Specifications: Brand New Pick-up 4 x 4, 6 speed, manual transmission (MT)
Equipped with 2.0 to 2.5 liter Diesel Engine In line 4 cylinder (DOHC) 16 valve, Turbo charged, common rail injection, Front suspension: Double wishbone with coil spring Rear suspension: Leaf spring. Front Brakes: ventilated discs. Rear brakes: drums equipped with anti-lock brake system (ABS); Tires: 255/70, R16, Wheels 16” alloy wheels. Steering : Rack and Pinion with power assist. Multi-media system: AM/FM Radio, 1 CD/MP3/Aux with Four(4) Speakers. Safety: Front and Rear seatbelts. Remote key. Body Color: White

The bid documents will be made available to interested supplier/dealer/s from November 19, 2014 to December 4, 2014 from 8:00 A .M. to 5:00 P.M. and December 5, 2014 from 8:00 AM to 2:00 P.M at the PCIC BAC Secretariat, Philippine Crop Insurance Corporation, 7th Flr Bldg A, NIA Complex Bgy. Pinyahan, EDSA Diliman Quezon City. Interested supplier/dealer shall pay the non-refundable cost of the bid documents amounting to P12,000.

Bids received in excess of the ABC shall be automatically rejected at the bid opening. Late bids shall not be accepted.

For interested parties, pre-bidding conference will be held on November 24, 2014 at 2:00 PCIC Conference Room of the Philippine Crop Insurance Corporation. 7th Floor Bldg. A, NIA Complex EDSA Diliman, Quezon City.

Further, sealed bids shall be submitted to PCIC BAC on or before 2:00 P.M. on December 5, 2014 At the PCIC Conference room, at which said date and place proposals should be opened. Each bid must be accompanied by the Bidders Bond in form of Cash, manager check’s in the sum equivalent to 2 % or GSIS bond in the sum equivalent to 5% of the ABC.

PCIC reserves the right to reject any or all proposal without offering any reason, waive any formality therein, and to make award to the bidder whose proposal is most advantageous to the Corporation.

PCIC assumes no responsibility whatsoever to compensate or indemnify bidders for any
expenses incurred in the preparation of the bids nor does it guarantee that an award will be made.
