DA mulls return of crop insuranceTABUK, Kalinga – The Department of Agriculture (DA) is eyeing to re-impose crop insurance to farmers, to help them recover from losses brought about by natural calamities. Click here for Election 2010 updates For a coverage of P10,000 per hectare, the government shall subsidize the P300 per hectare premium but for those who want to avail of higher coverage up to P20,000 per hectare, the P600-P700 premium shall be shared at 50-50 rate by the farmer and the DA.
