The program launched yesterday aims to give farmers and fishermen financial security during calamities. Farmers including 58-year-old Ricardo Parages of Minglanilla town, Cebu witnessed the launching of the program and the signing of the memorandum of agreement for the Integrated Farming Systems Development Program (IFSDP). Parages said that with the program with the MOA, their crops would now be insured. He said they would not have to incur debts when their crops would be destroyed by typhoons.
