10,000 Negros farmers covered by P180-million insuranceAT LEAST 10,000 farmers in the province are now assured of P180-million insurance coverage from the Department of Agriculture, Philippine Crop Insurance Corporation (PCIC) and the Provincial Government of Negros Occidental. Agriculture Secretary Proseso Alcala, PCIC president Jovy Bernabe and Negros Occidental Governor Alfredo Marañon Jr. led the initial distribution of the insurance coverage to 1,260 farmers in a program held at the Negros Occidental Multi Purpose Gym Friday.
